Our client is a global restaurant chain interested in understanding global sales performance across their core products and customer sentiment around their largest brands.
The One Six Solutions team assisted our client with the data preparation and consolidation to create a rapid prototype for a global sales dashboard and visualizations to support customer sentiment analysis collected by global survey data. One Six Solutions worked with the organization’s executive team to build a proof of concept platform that could be used internally to provide users with a much more ad-hoc environment for analysis and automated data refresh capability.
The solution was built using Microsoft’s Power BI, leveraging Power Query and Power Pivot to build a rapid prototype for dashboards and reports. Development was done using Power BI Desktop. Data was sourced from multiple flat files and Microsoft Excel to create the centralized analysis platform.
Our client was now able to provide end users with a more interactive and visually rich way to work with their global sales and customer sentiment data. The ability to compare global sales performance and drill into individual markets and product performance was now available on demand. The team was able to understand the capability of the new platform and identify whether or not it could be leveraged for a much larger implementation down the road.
