We strive to provide full transparency at every point of our hiring process. Check out this guide to hiring at OneSix so you know exactly what to expect from us. You may find minor variations in the process for certain positions.

Phone Screen

If you are scheduled for an interview, we will contact you via email to arrange a date/time.

During this call, we will discuss your skillset, and what you are looking for in your next opportunity. You will learn more about the OneSix team, the role, and we will make sure to save time for questions.

Technical Assessment

The technical assessment allows us to deep dive into your technical skillset. The assessment may include coding tests, video questions, and essay questions.

Video Interview

The video interview will be with two members of the OneSix Consulting team. This conversation will be collaborative and focused on your technical skills. You will also have time to interview our Consultants and get a better understanding of the type of work we do.

Case Study Interview

The case study interview is a half-day, 3–4-hour commitment, where we ask candidates to come into our Chicago office.

If you are located outside of Chicago, OneSix will cover your travel expenses. Your recruiter will provide specific details.

The case study will include interviews with members of the team and an opportunity to solve a typical client problem.

The goal of the case study is to understand your comfort level with our data tech stack and discover how you think, present, and solve problems.


The final stage!

After the case study, our interview team will huddle and come back to you with an offer or feedback on why we are not moving forward.
